With more than 50 years of experience in cooking homestyle American food, we pack satisfying flavor into every generous portion of food we serve.

Our company's owner and CEO, Robert Minlionica, was born in Brooklyn and raised on Commack Long Island. He was inspired to create this business from the happiness he felt during his parent's constant get-togethers. He got his first taste of the business, helping out in his friend John's family restaurant.

Robert shot from the hip when he purchased the Lauderdale by the sea restaurant back in 2005. He went in focused on creating a restaurant that served food he knew was good from personal experience. Robert views the restaurant as his home and his customers as his guests. We ensure that everyone has an excellent experience with us and gets all the food they can eat. The only complaint we've ever had is that we give so much food, but that's what to-go boxes are for!
